About Ummu Aisha Orphanage Centre
Founded in 2006, Ummu Aisha Orphanage Centre (UAOC) is a sanctuary of hope for orphaned and vulnerable children in Tanzania. Guided by the Qur’an and Sunnah, we provide holistic care, education, and empowerment to help every child thrive spiritually, emotionally, socially, and academically.
Operating under Ansaar Muslim Youth Centre – Arusha Branch, UAOC is licensed as a Children’s Home under Licence No. 06422 (2025–2030).
At UAOC, Every child is regarded as an Amanah (trust) from Allah. We nurture their spiritual, emotional, social, and academic growth, empowering them with faith, knowledge, resilience, and life skills to succeed in this world and the Hereafter.
Every child who enters UAOC carries a story of hardship — but through faith, compassion, and opportunity, we help transform that story into one of hope, dignity, and purpose.

Projects & Future Plans
To expand our impact and ensure long-term sustainability, UAOC is investing in transformative projects that will strengthen child welfare, education, healthcare, and community empowerment.
Transitional Girls’ Home & Empowerment Centre
A safe and supportive home for young women graduating from the orphanage, offering shelter, counseling, vocational training, mentorship, and preparation for independent living.
Capacity: 20–28 girls annually | Target Launch: 2027
Boys’ Residential Home
Currently, boys live with widowed mothers or host families while we provide school fees, learning materials, and mentorship. We dream of building a Boys’ Home to ensure equal protection, care, and education opportunities — offering safe housing, Islamic upbringing, and life skills training for over 100 vulnerable boys.
Al Rahma Health Centre
Affordable healthcare for women, children, widows, and the elderly. Services will include outpatient care, maternity, surgery, child health, and diagnostics — reducing maternal and child mortality while improving access to quality healthcare for thousands annually.
Al Rahma Commercial & Knowledge Building
A sustainability‑driven structure designed to generate income for the orphanage and health centre. It will house a public library, multipurpose hall, and affordable business spaces to empower youth and women through entrepreneurship and lifelong learning.
Sustainability Projects
✔ Bakery & Laundry Initiatives
✔ Clean Water System
✔ Solar Energy Expansion
